I just returned from the Tribunal, which is the second layer of courts here. As best I can tell, it's the equivalent of our superior court, with the judecatorii representing a combination of our magistrate and state courts. The Tribunal serves both as a trial court for more serious issues and as an appellate court from the judecatorii. Alex from Alt. Soc. was kind enough to stand in court with me and translate, so I picked up a good bit. As at home, there are lots of continuances, missing witnesses, and attorney conflicts. One of the cases involved an apparent "trafficking in persons" case.
