Rawlings in Romania

It was a quiet weekend in Iasi, my temporary hometown. I spent the time relaxing in the wonderfully cool fall weather and, on Sunday, went to an exposition at the Botanical Gardens. As I may have mentioned before, this is a quiet town for a city of 400,000, and on a pretty fall weekend the gardens and parks are full of families. As you can tell from the photos, despite the size of the city there are many open green spaces, and you can feel relaxed and "in the country" in the middle of the parks.
